On 11 February 2014 at the headquarters of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) in Paris was held the 23rd Legal Task Force meeting with attendance of the representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority. The meeting was devoted to discussions on the draft text of the Protocol to the Tokyo Convention of 1963.
During the discussion on the amendments to the Tokyo Convention, the various articles have been examined concerning among others: aviation security matters, jurisdiction regarding offenses committed on board aircraft and acts of unlawful interference. The meeting was organized in connection with the forthcoming Diplomatic Conference to Consider Amending the Tokyo Convention of 1963, which will be held at the headquarters of the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal from 26 March to 4 April 2014.
