Civil Aviation Authority informs that on 27-28 April in Madrid a meeting of representatives of the aviation sector devoted to the issue of reducing CO2 emissions from international civil aviation will be held. The meeting will begin with the series of debates focused on the implementation of the project under the name "Global Aviation Dialogues" (GLADs) foreseen for the countries of the region of Europe and the North Atlantic (EUR/NAT). The discussion is organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
At the beginning of 2014, ICAO has begun work on CO2 reduction measures (Global Market-Based Measures). The main purpose of the meeting is to acquaint the aviation sector with the existing results of work and exchange of experience in this field.
