On 23 April 2015 in Warsaw the third meeting of the Central European Rotation Group under the chairmanship of Poland was held. CERG The meeting was attended by directors general and representatives of the aviation authorities of nine countries - Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Lithuania and Greece.
Representatives of CERG countries were welcomed by the chairman of the group and simultaneously President of the CAA Mr Piotr Ołowski. During the meeting the Permanent Representative of Poland in the ICAO Council, Dr. Małgorzata Polkowska presented a report of 204. Session of the ICAO Council. Representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority also presented the presentations related to environmental protection in civil aviation, including the results of the ICAO Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) and a summary of the ICAO Regional Environmental Seminars held in Warsaw. One of the specialist has presented the state of the air transport market and the connections between the CERG countries (so-called connectivity). The participants also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the current legal regulations on remotely piloted aircraft systems in Poland and the Czech Republic presented by specialist on RPAS from both countries. Experts also provided information on the meetings at international level: ICAO RPAS Symposium which has been held in Montreal and JARUS meeting held in Dublin.
During the rest of the meeting participants discussed issues related to cooperation between Member States on the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding.
