On Sunday 30 May 2015, in the gardens of Prime Minister's Office family picnic was held on the occasion of Children's Day. This year's edition was devoted to the safety of children. The stand of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development was also attended by Civil Aviation Authority, which together with other institutions has prepared numerous attractions. The event attracted great interest, not only form the youngest participants. The guests were welcomed by Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz.
At the stand of the Civil Aviation Authority could be seen unmanned aerial vehicles. There was a possibility to ask questions to the experts, learn how and where to fly UAVs safely, and take part in an art competition on "The safest aircraft of the future". We wish to thank all the children for their beautiful drawings.
At the stand of the Ministry organized in cooperation with the Office of Rail Transport, Institute of Road Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Foundation of the PKP Group the children could:
• Play and learn on safety rules on the mini mobile railway town,
• Walk in alcogoogles on the track with obstacles,
• See airbag detonator,
• Play at the corners for children, take part in art competitions on safety,
• Meet Chopin Airport mascot - the elephant Frederick.
