Due to the increasing number of aviation incidents involving the release of lanterns, balloons, fireworks, laser lights, etc. without prior consent of the institution providing air traffic services, we kindly inform you that the above issue is regulated by the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and the Minister of National Defense of August 3, 2020 on the use of laser or light from other sources in airspace zones (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 1360). The above regulation defines zones in the airspace used for air navigation in which emitting or causing the emission of a laser beam or light from other sources towards an aircraft in a way that may cause glare, dazzle or glow may create a threat to the safety of the aircraft or to life or health. crew or passengers on board that ship.

A map service is available on the CAA’s website presenting the above-mentioned zones in which emitting or causing emission of a laser beam or light from other sources towards an aircraft in a way that may cause glare, blinding or glow may pose a threat to the safety of the aircraft or to life or health of crew or passengers on board that ship.
It should be noted that the institution providing air traffic services may consent to the use of a laser or light from other sources in the zones referred to above, if this use does not threaten the safety of the aircraft and the life and health of the crew and passengers on board.
The consent referred to above is issued upon an application submitted within 14 days before the planned use of a laser or light from other sources.

At the same time, we would like to remind you that in accordance with Art. 211 section 12 of the Aviation Law, ignoring the above rules is punishable by a fine, restriction of liberty or imprisonment for up to one year.
The above liability also rests with the event organizer who allows the events described above to occur.
