Temporary exemption (RefuelEU)
Temporary exemption from the obligation laid down in article 5 paragraph 1 of the Regulation (EU) 2023/2405 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 October 2023 on ensuring a level playing field for sustainable air transport (ReFuelEU Aviation).
The application must be signed by a person duly empowered to act on behalf of the aircraft operator. In case of having a branch located in the territory of Poland the application may also be signed by the person indicated in the National Court Register.
Application and documents must be composed in Polish language or may be translated into Polish
The original of the application shall be submitted at the CAA headquarters or sent to the CAA’s postal address:

Applications may also be submitted via the ePUAP system. When applying via ePUAP, using the Electronic Inbox located on the ePUAP platform requires a user account of the ePUAP electronic platform for public administration services.
Applications submitted by e-mail or via the EASA Sustainability Portal are considered as supplementary to national procedure. The respective provisions of law apply.
In case of being represented by the proxy submitting Letter of Attorney is required. Original of the Letter of Attorney shall be submitted at the CAA headquarters or sent to the CAA’s postal address:
