GENERAL PERMISSION – 10 and more non-scheduled commercial flights

Charter flights – general permission

It permits to operate 10 and more commercial flights to/from or in Poland by the air carrier from a third country (i.e. a country other than an EEA country or Switzerland).

Application due date: at least 14 working days before the day of the first flight

Required documents:
1. Air Operator Certificate (AOC) with Operations Specifications;
2. Insurance documents of the aircraft;
3. Charter agreement (contract for the air carriage);
4. Airworthiness certificate of the aircraft;
5. Noise certificate of the aircraft;
6. TCO Authorisation issued by EASA.

 

The operation of commercial flights without the permission of the President of CAA or with aircraft not listed in the permission is subject to a financial penalty and criminal liability.

Consideration of the application for the first general permission in a given scheduling season is subject to the aviation fee of PLN 22 238. This fee is not required if another fee was previously paid for the consideration of application for single permission to operate the tenth or more flights in the same scheduling season.

In individual cases the President of CAA may ask for additional information and documents.

The aviation fee may be paid:
a. in cash at the cash desk of the Civil Aviation Authority of Poland; the cash desk is open from Monday till Friday, 11:00 – 15:00 o’clock; or
b. via bank transfer to the bank account of the Civil Aviation Authority:
