On October 30th 2019 at the Headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority a meeting was held between Piotr Samson, the President of the Civil Aviation Authority and David Pekoske, the Acting Deputy Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security and Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
The meeting participants underscored the robust Polish-American cooperation and discussed additional areas of joint priority. This included, among others, progress toward the Visa Waiver Program for Polish citizens travelling to the U.S., increasing cooperation for the facilitation of all passengers but especially trusted travelers between the two countries, collaboration on aviation security measures, and last point of departures operations at Polish airports.
