On September 24 2013 38th Session of the of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly began in Montreal. The Assembly is participated by delegation from Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland. Piotr Ołowski - President of the Civil Aviation Authority and Ms. Małgorzata Polkowska - Polish candidate in elections to the Council of ICAO.

On September 13, 2013, the Conference "Aviation Day Eastern Europe", organized by the International Air Transport Association and the Ministry of Transport of Romania was held in Bucharest. The conference was attended by a Polish delegation - President of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Piotr Ołowski and the Polish candidate for the ICAO Council, Małgorzata Polkowska, Ph.D.

A two-day consultation between Polish and Korean aviation authorities on amendments to the bilateral agreement on air services, signed in Seoul on 14 October 1991 has ended. The head of the Korean delegation was Mr. Suh, Hoon Taik, Director General for Aviation at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea. The Polish side was represented by Mr. Piotr Ołowski President of the Civil Aviation Authority.

From 30 August to 2 September 2013, the President of the Civil Aviation Authority - Mr. Piotr Ołowski participated in the 62nd Special Meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA/62 (SP)) in Chisinau in Moldova.The meeting was attended by among others directors general of ECAC Member States, including the President of ECAC - Mr Catalin Radu, Secretary General of ICAO - Mr Raymond Benjamin, representatives of the European Commission , the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA ) and EUROCONTROL.

From 21 to 24 May 2013, Mr. Piotr Ołowski – President of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland participated in the 199th session of the Council of ICAO, at the invitation of the current representative of Slovenia on the ICAO Council (on behalf of CERG) - Mr. Alojz Krapez.

On May 13 and 14 the First Legal Workshop on “Just Culture” for prosecutors co-organized by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency took place in Warsaw.

On May 7, 2013, in Paris the 140th Meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) organized by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) was held. The meeting was attended by Mr. Piotr Ołowski, President of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland and Ms. Małgorzata Polkowska – Plenipotentiary of the President of the Civil Aviation Authority for European and International Affairs (Polish candidate for the Council of ICAO on behalf of CERG).
